Project activities

Agrimeccanica plays a key role in the BSI project by supplying and processing sustainable biomass feedstocks for biochar production, ensuring a reliable source of renewable carbon for the reduction process. By valorising agricultural residues and supporting efficient biomass logistics, Agrimeccanica strengthens the circular economy approach of the project, reduces dependence on fossil-based materials, and contributes to lowering the environmental footprint of sponge iron production. This involvement helps enhance both the sustainability and scalability of the BSI technology.
